I am Ross Mayfield Jr, a Ukiah-based business owner and life-long resident of Mendocino County. After graduating from Ukiah High School, I married Paula Mayfield. We have now been married for 37 years and have 3 children and four grandchildren.

For five years, I was a public servant with the Governor's Office of Emergency Services, which positioned me to perform consulting services facilitating the needs of the public.

I am a general engineering contractor with a passionate interest in serving the needs of the County's residents. I enjoy the superlative quality of life this area has to offer, and I know that the issues surrounding the needs of our diverse residents are complex. As a consultant working with public agencies, not-for-profit organizations, and Indian Tribes, I have provided solutions to tough issues.
